Project Information:

The house was constructed to designs produced by local architect Mr. Mike McCabe of riverside design group and to the client’s personal specification.

The house is built into the existing ground levels on a slight hill, with major ground works taking place to ensure the property sat as low as possible into the existing landscape. The house is constructed off a reinforced concrete raft foundations from an engineer’s design.

The main house walls are approximately 600mm thick below ground including the 100mm cavity wall and external tanking system with the walls terminating at 300mm overall above ground levels. The structure is built from traditional concrete blocks and erected off prepared foundations, with designed steel xolumns, steel beams and block and beam floors.

The floors to ground and first floors levels are formed from highly insulated concrete, designed for under floor heating. The property has a bespoke fibre glass flat roof system.

The property is highly insulated to client’s instructions and is energy efficient with all under floor heating and storage water run off a designed air source system.

The property in all was a complex high specification build, which was highly enjoyed by all trades. We are very proud of the finished results.
